The January Tyler Audubon Society birding field trip is Saturday morning, 17 January, at the South Spring Baptist Church property – 17002 US 69 South, Tyler (just a bit south of Loop 49).
We will meet in the main church parking lot near the church building at 8 AM. There is no fee. Toilet facilities are limited (outhouse near the frisbee course). The walking is easy. We have not birded here as an organization before, and I would like as many members as possible to come check it out. My scouting indicates this site has good potential and is close to Tyler.
The February field trip is planned for Richland Creek WMA. I still need to call and verify that it will be open on Saturday, 14 February. More details in early February.
