Tyler Audubon Monthly Meeting – January 13

Our next Tyler Audubon Society meeting is on January 13. Please note that we will be meeting at a new location for this meeting only:  South Spring Baptist Church – Student Center, 17002 US Hwy 69 S, Tyler, TX 75703

Prior to the meeting, we will be having dinner with our speaker. If you would like to join us for dinner at 5:00 PM, please email me at vpresident@tyleraudubon.org to RSVP, and I will share the restaurant location with you. I need to know by Friday of next week if you plan to attend dinner.

Learn how eBird can enhance your birding experience and how to get more out of using it.

Biography:

David Sarkozi began birding as a teenager in Central Texas and has been an avid birder for over 45 years—still keeping his very first field guide. A past President of the Texas Ornithological Society and a longtime board member, he has led countless birding trips across Texas and organized more than 30 trips to Belize through KoziBirding.com. David’s birding achievements include two Texas Big Years (500 species in 2015 and 509 in 2017) and birding all 254 Texas counties in a single year (2019). Outside of birding, he enjoys cooking, craft beer, and amateur radio, where he holds an Extra Class license.
